Rich is currently a commercial Real Estate Agent with Mauti Meredith Scogginin Covington. He is also President of Rich Mauti Enterprises, Inc. which provides corporate training and consulting services including public relations, presentations and motivational speaking for companies such as Shell Oil, Chevron, Entergy Corp, Hilton Hotels, SMG-Superdome, The MCC Group, and several community hospitals. He has been a guest lecturer on leadership at Loyola University, Delgado Community College, the University of New Orleans and many local High Schools. In addition, Rich has also been a certified Dale Carnegie trainer in the area of Leadership and Management. Rich played 8 years in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints and the Washington Redskins after graduating with a BS from Penn State in 1977. He is the Chairman/Founder of The Rich Mauti Cancer Fund a 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer organization established to raise money and awareness, in our local community, for cancer screenings, education for early detection and individual needs. To date the fund has raised over 2 million dollars primarily through memorials, donations and annual tennis and golf tournaments. (www.richmauticancerfund.com) Rich is married to Nancy; together they have 3 children, Patrick, Rachel and Michael living in Mandeville Louisiana. Patrick and Michael play football for Penn State and Rachel is on the volleyball team at The University of Lafayette Louisiana. He has been a board member of the East Jefferson General Hospital Foundation since 1989. Rich has served the academic and athletic communities as a member of the Advisory Board for Cedarwood Elementary School and as an assistant football coach at the junior high and high school level. His focus is community involvement and making a difference for others.
