Help Us Salute Our Soldiers
Help us Salute our Soldiers during Stone Creek's 8th Annual Salute fundraiser. This year's Salute will once again benefit 3 charities that support our Veterans in unique and different ways – The Gary Sinise Foundation, the Catch a Lift Fund, & our local group – Wounded War Heroes.
Why these three charities?
- The Gary Sinise Foundation provides support not only to our Veterans, but also to our Emergency Responders and their families.
- Catch A Lift Fund provides support to our Veterans so that they can recover and rehabilitate both physically and mentally through physical fitness, motivation and support. They support healing through exercise.
- Wounded War Heroes provides support for our wounded heroes through therapeutic outdoor experiences (hunting, fishing, etc...) upon their return home from fighting for our country. A true Louisiana way.
For 14 days, from November 3rd through November 17th, we will fly hundreds of tribute American flags along our property on Ochsner Blvd. and on our fitness trail as a show of our patriotism and support for our American heroes. We also invite local businesses to do the same by displaying flags in and around their businesses as well. Many other clubs across the country have joined us in this Salute, and together we raise over $75,000 each year and fly thousands of tribute flags.
Last year, Stone Creek’s "Salute our Soldiers" raised a total of $21,000 for the 3 charities through donations and corporate sponsorships. 100% of all proceeds from this year’s campaign will be equally split to benefit the Gary Sinise Foundation, Catch a Lift Fund, and Wounded War Heroes. Please click on the links below to donate to any one of these amazing charities:
There are several ways to show your support:
$500 Stars & Stripes Corporate Sponsorship: (30 available) This sponsorship includes 20 tribute flags with yellow ribbons – 10 to be displayed at your business, and 10 to be displayed at Stone Creek (or you can choose to have all of them displayed at Stone Creek). Your company name will also be listed as a sponsor on outdoor and in-club signage, in pre- & post-event emails to our members and on Stone Creek’s web site, and on a sign which will be placed on our driveway for 14 days during the tribute.
$25 Tribute Flag Donation: (600 available) Honor a loved one or show your support with a $25 donation, and we will fly a tribute flag for you here at Stone Creek. A yellow ribbon will be placed on all flags and donors are encouraged to write a dedication on the ribbon. Donations in any amount are gladly accepted at Stone Creek. All donors of $100 or more will also be thanked and listed on a display in our lobby.
Military Discount/Donation from FITBENCH: FITBENCH is offering a SOS Military Deal to our active military/veterans: 5% off the purchase of any FITBENCH + 5% donation to SOS + 1 SOS hat and limited-edition SOS decals. For non-military/veterans, 5% of all bench sales in November will be donated to SOS. FITBENCH will also be selling SOS hats for $22 (while supplies last), and 100% of proceeds will be donated. Our Salute our Soldiers fundraiser is our way of thanking those in our own community who have sacrificed so much for our freedom! We invite everyone in our community to contribute and to show their support to our soldiers and to our country. It's not only about the financial support, but just as important, it's about showing our support – for our flag and for our Heroes!
Thank you for your consideration,

Stone Creek Dedicates Court to Rich Mauti Cancer Fund
Covington, LA, October 14, 2018 – In April of this year, the Rich Mauti Cancer Fund and Stone Creek Club & Spa celebrated 10 years of partnership. Stone Creek has played host to the well-known Rich Mauti Tennis Classic, the charity organization’s largest annual fundraiser, since 2009. On Friday, October 19th, Stone Creek will dedicate a tennis court to the Mauti family and the committee of the Rich Mauti Cancer Fund, in honor of this long-standing partnership and the impact the charity has had on the local community.
The court dedication will take place at Stone Creek Club & Spa, 1201 Ochsner Blvd in Covington, at 12:45pm. Members of the media are welcome to attend.
Each year the 4-day mixed doubles tennis tournament attracts several hundred players & spectators and raises tens of thousands of dollars towards its mission. The Rich Mauti Cancer Fund is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing funding in the local community for cancer screenings, education and support to cancer patients.
In 2009, the event was awarded the title of Louisiana Charity Tennis Tournament of the Year by the Louisiana Tennis Association, and in 2011 it received the Louisiana Tennis Tournament of the Year Award. The Rich Mauti Tennis Classic has raised $640,000 in the last decade.
Nancy Mauti emphasizes that the annual tournament is truly a group effort. “We would not have the success of this tournament without our committee of 16 fabulous people and the incredible staff at Stone Creek Club & Spa.”
Stone Creek General Manager Larry Conner is proud of the tournament and its impact on the community. “Part of the mission of Stone Creek is to make a positive difference in our community, and the Mauti Tournament has long-standing track record of helping local families and health care providers in the fight against cancer. We are honored to be aligned with this wonderful charity organization, and we look forward to continuing our partnership for years to come.”

Stone Creek Awarded "Tammany Award" for Business of the Year
We are humbled and honored to receive the "Tammany Award" for Business of the Year, presented by the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce. Each year the Tammany Award recognizes a business that has "demonstrated leadership & drive, making the firm a leader in its field and in the community, and shows evidence of contributions toward the welfare of the community."
Chamber President Lacey Toledano presented the award at the Chamber's Annual Installation & Awards Luncheon. Her presentation included a quote from Stone Creek Charter Member Vickie Guarisco: "When the club opened, it was clear this unique facility would be a game-changer for the Northshore. While the facility is stunning and second-to-none, the difference maker is the employees who run and maintain it. They provide true magic - all their employees are professional, friendly and helpful. Every visit to the club is special."
In his acceptance speech, Stone Creek GM Larry Conner explained that the original vision for the club was to create a place that made a positive difference to its members, its employees & the community. "I'm so proud of our team for bringing that vision to life - we've accomplished even more than we imagined. We're so fortunate for the dedication of our owners, the passion of our team, and the constant support of our members."
